We are happy that you are considering The Amish House for your furniture purchase, and we understand you may have some questions or concerns before placing your order. This blog post will give you a general guideline of what you can expect when ordering your furniture from The Amish House.
Information & Options
Almost all our furniture choices will allow you to select your wood, size and stain options. These will be displayed to the right of the product picture. Also, by scrolling down, you will notice a tabbed information ribbon that contains additional information highlighting Key Features, Details & Dimensions and information on Shipping and Delivery. However, if you still have a question that isn’t answered on the product page, please just click on the email link under the add to cart button and email us your question directly. Although we generally will respond within two hours, please allow up to 24 hours.
After you place your order, we will send you a sample of the wood and stain you selected. This will allow you the opportunity to verify the wood and color of your choice will work in your home environment. If, after receiving your samples, you would like to change your selection, please just notify us by e-mail within 10 days from the placement of your order, and we will send you your new sample.
If you would like to obtain a sample prior to ordering, simply select your wood and stain options, add to the cart, and we will send you samples for a small charge. If, you decide to place your order after receiving your samples, we will credit your account for the amount spent on the sample. Our goal is to make you 100% confident and comfortable in your decision to purchase from The Amish House.
Placing Your Order & Payment Options
You have two payment options when placing your order. You can choose standard checkout and pay for your order completely. Or, you can choose to purchase with Partial.ly, which allows you to pay with just half down, and the remainder when your order is complete. Please note, the partial payment plan is not available when purchasing outdoor furniture, as this furniture will generally ship within 3-5 business days via FedEx
Receiving Your Furniture
Once we receive notice from the craftsman that your Amish furniture has been completed and is ready for shipping, we will send you an email notifying you that your order is ready to ship. At this time, you will complete your payment if you have an outstanding balance. Once we receive your final payment, our private carrier will contact you and arrange a shipping time and date.
Our furniture delivery costs include in home setup of the furniture for your convenience. Please inspect your furniture carefully during this process. We want to make sure your item meets your expectations and that you are 100% satisfied with the furniture. Please see our complete Terms & Conditions page for additional details.
