- Any household stains
- Human and pet biological stains (except perspiration, hair, and body oils)
- Punctures, cuts, tears, rips**
- Burns not caused by house fire
- Zipper and button breakage
- Seam separation
- Household pet damage***
- Failure of springs, frames, mechanisms, motors, levers and power and remote cords used for sleeper, reclining, and inclining applications****
- Matching pieces (additional items that have an identical fabric color and/or print)
- Electronic components such as power outlets, lighting, USB ports, massage mechanisms, docking stations, etc.
Wood (and other hard surfaces)
- Any household stains
- Human and pet biological stains (except perspiration, hair, and body oils)
- Burns not caused by house fire
- Heat marks, not caused by fire
- Household pet damage***
- Failure of springs, frames, mechanisms, motors, levers and power and remote cords used for sleeper, reclining, and inclining applications****
- Checking, cracking, bubbling, peeling of finish
- Scratches, gouges, chips
- Breakage, other than failure
- Liquid marks or rings
- Loss of silvering on mirrors
- Chips, scratches, breakage of glass or mirror

3. Opt in at the time of delivery: simply call our store prior to delivery.
What to Do When Filing a Claim
1. Blot stains as soon as possible with a clean, dry cloth, but do nothing more until you speak with Guardsman.
2. Read your plan to ensure that the issue is covered.
3. Call Guardsman within 30 days of when the stain or damage occurred at 877.584.GOLD (4653). Have your receipt and plan number handy.
