Amish Bed Collection

Beds are the one thing in the house you lie on every night for a decade or more, so a frame that creaks or sags is one you notice fast. Our Amish beds are solid hardwood front to back, headboard, footboard and rails, with no particle board to give out a few years in. This is the collection for the frame itself, in every style and size we make.

You will find platform beds that skip the box spring, storage beds with drawers built into the base, sleigh and panel styles, and low-footboard designs that keep the view open. Every one is made to order in the wood, stain, and size you choose, from twin up to California king, so a solid wood bed fits your room and your mattress exactly.

FINDING YOUR FIT

How to Choose Your Bed

Start with the style, since it sets the look of the whole room. A platform bed supports the mattress on slats and skips the box spring for a lower line, a storage bed adds drawers in the base for rooms short on closet space, and a sleigh bed brings the curved headboard and footboard. Low-footboard designs keep the end of the bed open if you want the view or the television clear.

Then the size, twin through California king. Here, made-to-order earns its keep, because the frame is built to fit your mattress rather than the other way around. Tell us the mattress you have or plan to buy and we size the bed to it, so there are no gaps and no surprises.

Last, the finish and the headboard. Choose the wood and stain to match the dressers and nightstands already in the room, and a headboard height that suits the space. Tell our team your room and your mattress, and we will build the bed to order around both.

Solid Hardwood, Headboard to Rails

The whole frame is solid wood, so it will not creak, wobble or sag under the mattress the way a particle-board bed starts to within a few years.

Built to Your Mattress

Sized to order for your exact mattress, twin to California king, so the frame fits snug with no gap at the head or along the sides.

Storage Where You Need It

Choose a platform bed for a low, clean line, or a storage bed with drawers in the base that add close to a dresser's worth of space underneath.

Matched to the Room

Built in the wood and stain you choose, so a new bed matches the dressers and nightstands already in the room instead of standing out.

Joinery That Holds Under Weight
BUILT TO LAST

Joinery That Holds Under Weight

A bed carries weight every night for years, so the joints where the rails meet the posts are where it counts. Solid hardwood and strong joinery keep the frame silent and square, where a bed built from particle board and cam bolts starts to creak and loosen. Ours are built to order by the Amish shops behind our Nolensville showroom, most arriving in 8 to 12 weeks, with Quick Ship options in 3 to 5.

Because each is made for you, we match the bed to the dressers and nightstands you already have, down to the wood and the stain, so the room stays of a piece.

BEYOND THE BEDROOM

Furnish the Rooms Down the Hall

The shops that build our beds build for every other room too. Take the same solid hardwood into our dining room, living room, office and outdoor collections.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on the style. Platform beds support the mattress on a slat system and need no box spring, which is part of their low, clean look. Traditional and some sleigh styles can take a box spring or foundation if you prefer that height. Tell us your setup and we will build to it.
Yes. Storage beds add drawers built into the base, close to a dresser's worth of space under the mattress, which is a real help in a room short on closet space. Tell us how many drawers you want and on which sides, and we build it in.
Our platform beds come with a solid wood slat system built to support the mattress on its own, so there is nothing extra to buy. If your style uses a foundation instead, we will tell you before you order, so there is no surprise on delivery day.
Yes, and it is one of the most common requests we get. Order wood and stain samples, hold them against your dressers and nightstands, and we build the bed in the finish that matches, even if the other pieces came from somewhere else.
Yes. Financing is available on select pieces through checkout, so you can spread the cost of a bed over time. Look for the financing option on the product page, or call our team and we will walk you through what qualifies.
White glove delivery brings the bed inside, carries it to the room and assembles the frame where it goes, then removes the packaging, for a flat $239 anywhere in the lower 48. Alaska and Hawaii are the only areas we cannot reach.
Yes. Our Nolensville, Tennessee showroom has beds set up in different styles and sizes, so you can judge the height, the headboard and the finish in person. Call ahead and we will have the styles you are weighing ready for you.
